A rare zedonk has been born in a Georgian (USA) nature reserve (short video on this BBC page or see a picture here). A zedonk is a cross between a zebra and a donkey. There is also the word zonkey in the OED for the same hybrid animal, but this, apparently, is not the correct technical term -- zedonk is. The word zebrule is also in the OED as a synonym for zedonk.
