It should be noted that "moochin" (also written as "mwchin" by Thomas) is pronounced /ˈmʊxɪn/. It is -- as you say, but note the correct spelling -- an alteration of the Welsh "mochyn", pronounced /ˈmɔxɪn/, the singulative form of "moch" (pigs).
